One day on dry land that opens the way to Rescue Diver and is useful everywhere else in life.
The programme covers resuscitation, use of an automated defibrillator, and managing bleeding, spinal injuries and shock. Plus a diving module: administering oxygen, recognising decompression sickness and lung overexpansion injury.
The certification is valid for two years — after that a short refresher is enough.
