This is the course. After it you are a diver — you can walk into any dive centre in the world, rent gear and dive with a buddy to eighteen metres. The certification does not expire.
How it runs
The course has three parts, interleaved over several weeks.
Theory — five modules on dive physics, equipment, planning and emergency procedures. You get the materials at the start so you can read at your own pace.
Pool — five sessions where you practise everything that might matter: clearing a mask, removing and refitting gear underwater, breathing from your buddy’s alternate air source, buoyancy control. You practise until it works, not until the clock runs out.
Open water — five dives on which you repeat the pool skills in real conditions and start simply diving.
Groups of three to four
That is not a number off a leaflet. In a larger group the instructor stops seeing everyone at once, and you spend half the session waiting your turn. We also run one-to-one training — the whole course at your pace, for 3800 PLN.
Age
From 10 as Junior Open Water Diver with a 12-metre depth limit; from 15, full certification.
