You do not fight a current — you go with it. That sounds simple until you have to enter the water at exactly the right moment, hold a group together through forty minutes of drift, and send up a buoy so the boat sees you before you are a kilometre away.
The course pays off wherever the best reefs are — the Red Sea, the Maldives, Indonesia. Current brings food, and everything else follows the food.
