Search and Recovery

Search patterns, lift bags, working with line.

Depth: open water
Format: 4 dives
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver
Agency: PADI

The most practical specialty in Polish conditions — sooner or later someone in the group drops a torch, a camera or an anchor on the bottom.

You learn several search patterns and which to choose given the visibility and the size of what you are looking for. Then recovery: a lift bag raises weights you could never move by hand, but used badly it shoots to the surface and takes you with it.
